Sudoku — a new graded puzzle every day
Play any time+ a new puzzle every day
Every row, every column and every three-by-three box holds one to nine exactly once. Same rules everywhere — the difference is how honest the difficulty label is.
Most apps grade a sudoku by counting blank squares, which is not a difficulty at all: two boards with the same number of blanks can be minutes apart. MindGlyph solves each generated board the way a person would — singles, then locked candidates, then pairs — and grades it by the hardest technique the solve actually needed. An Easy board is easy because it falls to singles, not because it has more numbers printed on it.
There is a new graded puzzle every day, and the daily is not a limit: pick Easy, Medium, Hard or Extreme and play as many boards as you want. Every daily puzzle stays in the archive.

How to play Sudoku
- Fill each empty square with a digit from one to nine.
- No digit may repeat in a row, a column, or a three-by-three box.
- Scan for squares where only one digit can possibly go — that is the whole of an Easy board.
- On harder grids, look at where a digit can go within a box, not just within a square.
- Fill the grid completely and correctly to finish.

Sudoku questions
Is every puzzle solvable without guessing?
Every board has exactly one solution. Easy and Medium boards are solvable with singles alone; Hard and Extreme need pattern techniques such as locked candidates and pairs.
How is the difficulty decided?
The app solves each generated board with a human-technique solver and labels it by the hardest technique the solve actually needed, rather than by how many squares were left blank.
Is the sudoku free?
Yes, all four difficulties and the daily puzzle are free on Android and iOS. No subscription.
Can I play more than one sudoku a day?
Yes. The daily board is the shared one everybody gets; Easy, Medium, Hard and Extreme are available on demand with no cap on how many you solve.
